“When Microsoft released Visual Studio 2010 Beta 2 in October, company officials said it was looking likely that the product would ship on or around March 22, 2010. But due to some feedback from testers around virtual memory performance, Microsoft is delaying the launch by “a few weeks.”
Senior Vice President of Microsoft’s Developer Division, Soma Somasegar, delivered news of the delay via a blog post on December 17. Somasegar said the beta period for Visual Studio 2010 and .Net Framework 4 will be extended, and Microsoft will deliver a Release Candidate (RC) in February 2010. ”
