Intel Nehalem to induce Multi core applications in Microsoft Windows 7

With Intel inside, it is expected that Microsoft’s upcoming Windows 7 will come with support for multithreaded and multicore applications. The increased performance is what can be expected from the upcoming operating system. Microsoft and Intel are working in a collaborated manner over the application performance of the upcoming operating system. They are inducing intelligent multi tasking capabilities in the operating system where in operating system will identify available resources and break up the processing accordingly.

The new feature called SMT parking, allows the operating system to adhere to the capabilities of Intel hyperthreading technology.
