The OCTEON Wireless Processors are being used or designed into next generation wireless equipment such as Long Term Evolution (LTE) network elements, LTE Base Stations (eNodeBs), Evolved Packet Core (EPC) devices, 3G Basestations, 2G/3G network systems, Radio Network Controllers (RNC), xGSNs, Femtocells, Femto Gateways, WiMax basestations and ASN Gateways. Cavium’s OCTEON Multicore MIPS64 wireless processors are being designed into more than 40 wireless infrastructure platforms by telecom equipment manufacturers, many of which are being presented at MWC, Barcelona.
