Freescale Semiconductor is trying to drive netbooks to lower price points with a new ARM-based processor while Nvidia wants to ratchet up their performance with a more muscular graphics chip.
The ultra small notebooks are one bright light in an otherwise depressed PC market outlook. But one OEM said he does not believe Freescale’s Linux-based option will gain much market traction.
