Graphics chip vendor Nvidia Corp. will eliminate roughly 360 jobs, or 6.5 percent of its workforce, by Oct. 26, the company said Thursday (Sept. 18).
Nvidia said it expects to record restructuring-related charges of about $7 million to $10 million in the third quarter of fiscal 2009 in connection with the reduction, primarily for severance and related costs.
