Connective Logic Demos Blueprint Multicore Software Development Platform

September 8th, 2008 · 5 Comments

Connective Logic, a UK company, demos their multicore software development platform named Blueprint at TechCrunch50 conference. An excerpt from their description of Blueprint platform.

“Developing software to fully exploit multi-core CPUs is technically challenging and current development tools in the market are widely acknowledged to be inadequate. Connective Logic has created the Blueprint software development platform which, along with our real-time middleware, enables software developers to design, code generate and deploy very complex multi-core software applications without requiring expertise in the field of multi-threaded software. Blueprint enables software that scales out over any number of CPU cores and networked computers, and ensures optimal load balancing and CPU utilisation. Blueprint delivers significant reductions in software development costs, dramatically reduces time-to-market, lowers software development risk, improves application performance, safeguards investment in existing sequential code, reduces dependency on scarce multithreading experts and significantly reduces lock-in to operating systems and hardware platforms. Blueprint and its underlying middleware are unique in the market place. The middleware has been proven in very demanding production systems within the UK Defence Industry.”
