The 45th Design Automation Conference (DAC), the electronic design automation (EDA) industry’s prestigious annual forum, awarded Best Paper honors to two technical papers presented at this year’s conference. One of them went to Wei Dong, Peng Li and Xiaoji Ye, of Texas A&M University, the authors of “WavePipe: Parallel Transient Simulation of Analog and Digital Circuits on Multi-core Shared-memory Machines,” presented a novel approach for parallel transient simulation, a process that can significantly speed up computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
